The Horseshoe’s aforementioned 2011/2012 re-entry event solidified the property as one of the premier Circuit destinations. The high roller, which begins Sunday, October 25, was added to the Circuit repertoire this year and given Hammond’s knack of doing things big, it’s expected to be a staple on the series’ schedule going forward. Other tournaments on the schedule include a $365 Monster Stack, a $580 six-max, a $1,125 no-limit hold’em and, for the first time this season, a $5,300 high roller. Kicking off the series, the tournament boasts a $365 buy-in, three starting flights, nine Main Event seats added and is expected to challenge the 3,001 entries the property’s 2011/2012 re-entry event drew. For the first time in the property’s eight-year WSOP history, the Circuit’s patented re-entry event features unlimited re-entry. A total of 12 events take place through October 26 when the series concludes with the $1,675 Main Event. ![]() ![]() (October 13, 2015) - The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to the Chicago area this Thursday as the tour sets up shop at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. ![]() Series kicks off Thursday, season's first $5,300 high roller ring event begins October 25.
